Zé and Melody pose for the haters. |
Piggybacking off of the Ethan Vanderbuilt post, I’d like to take time to talk about two awesome people who have turned an MLM nightmare into an MLM awareness campaign that has brought them over one thousand subscriptions on YouTube.
Gotta love that logo. |
Zé and Melody were once members of World Wide Dream Builders, a cult-like financial wellness group that is really the larva spawn of the yeast-infected pussy-pocket known as Amway. They lost 20 grand to the scheme, and have made it their duty to share their story with the world that WWDB is a huge hoax.
Many of their videos get right to the point and explain how WWDB brainwashes common people into being part of the dream team of eagles, diamonds, and other ranks in the MLM chain equivalent to earning the right to be on the safety patrol in grade school. All of the aphorisms are there:
“Be core so that people will come to you!”
“Change your mindset and stop being broke-minded!”
“Be a good Christian so God can bless you financially!”
Zé and Melody describe in cringy details about how WWDB has pulled off a mass deception on a grand scale, even naming a few members whom they used to affiliate with. My personal favorite is the video where the WWDB drones accused Zé and Melody of being a Domestic Violence couple. Da fuck?!
So gangsta wit dey shit. |
But, I’m not surprised that MLM folks would stoop so low. Safe to say both Zé and Melody brought that smoke; Zé is packin’ heat and he let it be known that he’s not some bitch-ass poser. Dude is keeping it authentic. Melody stands by her man and she’s quite the pistol, so don’t fuck with these two. On some real shit.
Another video they made goes in on the DeVos family and all of the fucked up shit they do to people. These two have done their homework on Amway/WWDB, so MLM supporters better come correct. There’s also a video about how Melody went over the family expenses and realized that WWDB was syphoning money from them (and everybody else in the group).
Zé and Melody are a rare, but novel case. You don’t get too many people admitting that they got scammed. Most people cut their losses and quietly go away (or end up in another MLM). Being an MLM whistleblower gets you mad love and plenty of haters. A notable hater (described as an old crossline) was recorded hitting up Zé during what Zé calls “booty call hours”. Zé pretty much told the guy that WWDB took 20k from him, but the guy on the other end seemed like he was okay with that, since it didn’t directly affect him.
What a loyally brainwashed, Amway knob-slobber.
Zé wasn’t tap dancing either. He put dude in his place (jumping back to the DV video, Zé was even offering to have a contest with choices of a dance-off, a fist fight, and a shootout). I told you. This cat Zé is on some whole other shit. I applaud him for not fucking that dude up.
Last, but not least, Zé and Melody posted a three part series called “I GOT PUT THROUGH THE AMWAY PROCESS”. I highly suggest that anybody looking to join WWDB or MLM in general listen to these three videos. It’s frightening how these MLM drones target people looking for a great opportunity. I won’t spoil the ending, but Zé roasted the ballsac of the young guy who was trying to lure him into Amway. Be warned: the kid trying to scam Zé says “uh” more than Trump tweets.
Overall, I’m very pleased with Zé and Melody for their courage to come forward and admit that they were drawn into a group that they thought would bring them financial freedom. Please note that even though they lost 20k, they still have money saved up. They are wiser now, and they’re sharing their story.
I wish more people would follow Zé and Melody’s example and reveal what happened after they’ve been through the process of being in an MLM. Knowledge of MLM schemes is key to avoiding them. I’ll leave this blog post on that note.
Now, if you will excuse me. I’m off to the nearest Buffalo Wild Wings to try the Ghost Pepper Spicy Habenero Sauce, because Ze and Melody are gangsta like that.

Y'all know this is their debut album cover, right? |
